Funding

In order to receive the parent portion of the education grant, a parent must be accepted by St. Gabriel Education Centre prior to September 27 of the school year. Students are not eligible for funding after September 27. This includes where a student changes from an online or regular program to home education after September 27. 

Submissions for reimbursement of educational materials must be consistent with the Home Education Regulation. To determine whether a cost or expense is reimbursable, St. Gabriel Education Centre refers to the Standards for Home Education Reimbursement.

All receipts for fees must be submitted between Nov. 1st of the school year and April 30th of the school year for reimbursement in the same year. Parents have 2 years to submit receipts for reimbursement, as per the Guide to Home Education.
